This role exists to reduce reimbursement delays and ensure patients and payers have clear, correct documentation. You'll move between online payer portals and phone calls to confirm current coverage, then document updates in the patient record so billing details align with the latest information. Throughout the day, you'll rotate through email, system reports, and work queues to keep items moving and prevent aging accounts. When patients are difficult to reach, you'll prepare and mail required termination letters, then log and route any returned mail appropriately.
