Senior Accounts Receivable Coordinator

About the RoleWe’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll oversee collections, manage customer accounts, and ensure accurate and timely posting of payments. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a positive, can-do attitude to every task.What You’ll DoOversee all aspects of accounts receivable collections, including proactive daily review of the aging reportConduct daily reviews of the A/R aging report and follow up with customers on payment timelines.Track and document all communications and collection activities within Microsoft Teams or the A/R system.Monitor and manage DSO and aging performance, including 30+, 90+ and 120+ day buckets.Follow the established collection workflow, escalating as needed to management.Issue demand letters and formal collection communications when necessary.Promote and assist in converting customers from check or credit card to ACH payments.Manage Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests and maintain compliance records.Post customer payments daily based on bank activity and ensure accurate recordkeeping.Support billing operations and cross-train to ensure team coverage.Maintain a high-energy, positive, and solutions-oriented approach in all interactionsWhat We’re Looking For4+ years of progressive A/R or accounting experience; 1–2 years in a senior or lead role preferred.Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Experience with credit management and collections best practices is required.Why You’ll Love Working HereCompetitive salary: $65,000–$67,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and moreOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive, collaborative team environmentReady to Apply?If you’re an experienced A/R professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and building strong customer relationships, we’d love to hear from you.
