Production Warehouse Team Member (Mid Shift)

Production Warehouse Team Member Successful and growing global importer and food manufacturer headquartered Utica, NY is seeking a full-time Production/Shipping & Receiving Personnel. This position is for 8-hour mid-day/evening shifts, Monday through Friday. The shift time is 12:30pm to 9:00pm. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will also have experience operating a forklift and moving bulk products using pumps and hoses. Top candidates will be enthusiastic, dependable, and have strong organizational skills. Typical Duties (including but not limited to): Loading/Unloading tankers and railcars of bulk edible oil Maintaining accurate shipping & receiving logs Assisting in physical inventory counts Loading/Unloading trucks with a forklift Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and complying with all good manufacturing practices Ensuring all Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements are followed Assisting with preventative maintenance of warehouse facility and equipment Maintaining security of the warehouse and shipping docks Some heavy lifting is required Preferred experience and skills include: Minimum 2 years relevant experience in warehouse and production environment Experience with quality control and safety programs, especially in food manufacturing Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Minimum Requirements: Willing to work full time 40 hours per week High school diploma or equivalent Salary & Benefits: Pay commensurate with experience; Growth potential Holiday schedule and paid time off 401K with Company Contribution Company-Sponsored Individual Health Insurance Family Health Insurance options Demanding but fun work environment where the days fly by Work with an awesome team of people Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Language: English (Preferred) Shift availability: Night Shift (Required) Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Utica, NY 13502 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Utica, NY 13502: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
