To be considered, please apply as soon as possible.Definition: Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties in the mowing operations, filling Water Cooler, emptying and recycling trash on golf courses, and filling sand containers on par three tees.Principal Duties: Operate a wide variety of equipment used in the mowing operations of golf course areas. Operate utility cart to pull water tank and fill drinking coolers. Empty all trash cans and separate recyclable materials on golf course and around outside of golf clubhouse. Work includes exposure to sun, flying golf balls, dust, pollen, fumes, noise, gases and oils. Work requires physical effort including lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, sitting, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. Coordination of eyes, hands, legs, and body is needed. Work requires ability to read equipment manuals, and the ability to perform written record keeping. Incumbents must be able to work weekends and holidays, work alone or in a group on multiple concurrent tasks and perform tasks with frequent customer contact.Qualifications: Must be 18 or older and in possession of a valid Colorado driver's license. Previous experience in the field of park or golf course maintenance is not required. Understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Perform light physical labor. Learn and perform semi-skilled tasks required in the maintenance of golf courses. Perform duties according to City safety policies. Work well with others. Operate utility vehicles.
