Tutors - Exam Prep (Math and/or Verbal)

Duties Deliver targeted exam prep tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs Adapt curriculum materials and lesson plans to align with exam requirements and student learning styles Incorporate learning technology tools to facilitate engaging and effective instruction Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Provide support for students with special education needs or additional learning challenges Maintain clear communication with students and leadership regarding progress and areas for improvement Foster motivation and confidence in students preparing for exams Qualifications Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or classroom management Experience working with students of various ages, including special education settings Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage diverse learners effectively Familiarity with exam formats and preparation strategies for standardized tests or specific subject assessments Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize lessons efficiently, and motivate students toward success Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 4 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
