Ideal for PET technologists and nuclear medicine imaging specialists seeking a travel technologist role in Virginia.Job Details - Nuclear Medicine Technologist Travel Job Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,090 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 - August 3, 2026) Employment Type: Travel Technologist, On-Site Setting: Main Hospital - Imaging Department (Nuclear Medicine Unit, PET/PET-CT) Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30 (8-hour days) Hours per Week: 40 Dress Code: Scrubs (Car Blue) Location Keywords: Henrico, VA; Richmond imaging jobs; Virginia healthcare jobs; zip code 23229 Job Requirements - Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or equivalent clinical imaging experience (PET experience preferred) Certification: NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) required BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Experience with GE nuclear medicine/PET equipment and MEDITECH documentation system preferred Ability to meet state licensure or registration requirements for Virginia, if applicable Responsibilities - PET / Nuclear Medicine Technologist Duties Perform all nuclear medicine and PET/PET-CT exams and procedures according to hospital protocols and radiation safety standards Operate GE nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Prepare, handle, and document radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately following ALARA principles Document patient information, imaging procedures, and results using MEDITECH electronic medical records Float between PET and Nuclear Medicine units as workload requires Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and families Why Henrico / Richmond Area?
