APG Warranty & Inside Sales Representative

Direct hire opportunity with our client-an HVAC distributor in St. Louis City-for a Warranty Specialist who enjoys solving problems and getting customers the right parts fast. What's in it for you: 100% paid insurance for yourself and your family, a Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 schedule, and real work-life balance (your weekends remain yours).Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to warranty/parts inquiries via phone and emailVerify correct replacement parts using serial/model/part numbers and item descriptionsProcess warranty claims per manufacturer/OEM guidelines and gather required documentationCreate and manage sales orders, returns/RMAs, backorders, and order corrections in an ERP systemTrack and follow up on open claims/cases to ensure timely resolutionCommunicate warranty decisions, credits, replacement procedures, shipping info, ETAs, and backorder statusCoordinate with internal teams (warehouse/purchasing) to ensure accurate fulfillment and address damaged/incorrect shipmentsMaintain accurate documentation and strong attention to detail (especially part numbers)Required Qualifications2+ years of experience in warranty administration, parts support, counter/parts desk support, order entry, or customer serviceStrong communication, problem-solving, and follow-throughComfortable reading technical identifiers (model/serial numbers, product specs)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel); ERP/order entry experience preferredPreferred QualificationsHVAC product knowledge (nice to have-not a dealbreaker)Experience processing manufacturer warrantiesExperience supporting contractors/technicians/installersPhysical / Work EnvironmentFully on-site role with a mix of desk work and coordination with warehouse/counter functionsOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs and ability to climb a ladder as needed#IND3
