Weekend Assistant SupervisorSchedule: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM (36 hours worked, paid for 40)Pay: $30/hourWe are seeking a Weekend Assistant Material Supervisor to support operations across the Materials and Fabrication departments. This role is responsible for overseeing weekend production flow, coordinating materials activity, and leading a team of approximately 4–10 employees.Key Responsibilities: Supervise weekend operations across materials and fabricationLead, support, and direct a team of material handlers, coordinators, and fabrication employeesConsult with shift supervisor and oversee scheduling, staffing, and production needsObserve areas for reduction of waste and costOversee material handling activities including forklift operation, picking, and stagingEnsure accurate tracking of materials and inventory within the ERP systemCoordinate workflow to meet production needs and deadlinesMonitor safety, quality, and efficiency standardsAct as the primary point of contact for weekend operations with minimal supervisionProvide hands-on support as needed across departmentsWhat we are looking for: Experience in manufacturing in a material handler or equivalent rolePrior leadership, team lead, or supervisory experienceAbility to work independently and manage operations with limited oversightExperience with ERP or inventory tracking systemsManufacturing or fabrication environment experience preferred#SMNCareers #CareerChangeByDohertyFor questions or details about the Assistant Supervisor role, please call/text 952-818-3275 or email Lvoit@doherty.com.Learn about your benefits and additional resources at www.doherty.com/job-seekers/employee-benefits.
