We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team on a locum tenens basis in the emergency department. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in emergency medicine to contribute to a high-paced medical environment near Lake Worth Beach, Florida. Position Details: Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension Schedule: 10-12 shifts per month, requiring a commitment of 60-120 hours monthly Shifts: Flexible scheduling with coverage required for 12-hour shifts (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) Provider Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience, with preference for 2 years Experience in level 2 trauma or greater preferred Familiarity with HCA metrics is desirable Responsibilities: Manage approximately 1.7 patients per hour, with the department handling an average of 155 patients daily, including 30 pediatric cases Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive emergency care Adapt to a dynamic work environment with shifting patient needs If you are a qualified and motivated APP eager to make an impact in emergency medicine, we encourage you to apply.
