We place a strong emphasis on integrity, clear communication, quality craftsmanship, and delivering an exceptional client experience.We are looking for a highly organized, field-driven Site Superintendent to oversee residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through final completion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, leading trade partners, maintaining clean and productive jobsites, and communicating clearly with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and the internal team.This is not a clipboard-only or office-based role. The Site Superintendent is responsible for keeping projects moving every day by coordinating field activity, managing schedules, monitoring quality, tracking materials, documenting progress, and helping ensure each project is completed on time, on budget, and to Watershed Builders' standards.The Site Superintendent is brought into projects early, working with the estimating and pre-construction team before the job is sold. This gives them a clear understanding of the scope, schedule, budget, client expectations, and project plan before work begins. For someone who takes pride in running organized, profitable projects and building strong relationships with both homeowners and trade partners, this position offers strong long-term growth potential.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee residential remodeling and renovation projects from pre-construction through punch list completionParticipate in pre-construction site visits and assist with schedule planning before project kickoffManage day-to-day jobsite activity, subcontractor coordination, inspections, material needs, and field executionMaintain project schedules, daily logs, weekly updates, and project communication through JobTreadCoordinate with trade partners to ensure proper sequencing, quality control, and timely completion of workHelp prepare, document, and manage change orders, including approvals and communicationTrack project costs, receipts, cost coding, vendor invoices, and subcontractor bill approvalsMaintain safe, clean, organized, and professional jobsitesServe as a primary field contact for homeowners throughout the projectLead routine site meetings, walkthroughs, and project check-insIdentify issues early and communicate solutions proactivelyHelp deliver a customer experience that results in strong referrals and 5-star reviewsQualifications4 to 7+ years of experience preferred in residential remodeling, renovation, custom home building, or a similar field leadership positionStrong understanding of jobsite sequencing, subcontractor management, scheduling, inspections, and quality controlComfortable communicating directly with homeowners and trade partnersExperience managing fixed-price projects and protecting project budgetsAbility to read scopes of work, schedules, plans, selections, and project documentationProficiency with construction management software or willingness to learn systems such as JobTreadStrong written documentation, organization, and follow-through skillsValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredMust be able to work in the field throughout the South Charlotte service areaReliable personal vehicle required during the initial employment periodCompany vehicle eligibility begins after 4 months, subject to reviewPay And BenefitsFull-time, W-2 employmentBase salary: $80,000 to $95,000+ per yearExpected total compensation may range from $100,000 to $105,000, depending on performanceAdditional compensation through KPI/profit-share incentives tied to schedule performance, budget performance, and customer satisfactionUnlimited PTO, based on performance and team coverage6 paid holidays plus the week between Christmas and New YearUp to $400/month toward health insuranceUp to $150/month gym reimbursementUp to $150/month chiropractic reimbursementCompany phone and iPad/tablet providedMileage reimbursement when applicableCompany vehicle consideration after 4 monthsWhy Watershed BuildersWatershed Builders offers the opportunity to join a growing, values-driven company that takes craftsmanship, communication, and customer experience seriously.
