Sr. Controls Engineer
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of Controls architecture for large multiple module systems
Program control systems for cam, servo, and air operated stations, along with test and electrical devices
Write PLC-to-device software interface, including implementation documentation and validation plan
Programs HMI devices with ease of operation in mind
Create functional specifications, flow diagrams, Bill of Materials, organize release packages, and update schematics.
Participate in internal and customer design reviews, installations, and service calls when needed.
Guide Electricians in wiring and codes. Support software validation requirements
Labview Development, Fluent in the use of RSLogix and Siemens Step7
Net development (VB.Net, C#, Visual C++)
Robot programming and knowledge of latest RIA safety standards
Precision motion control involving coordinated motion
Machine vision specifying and programming
Troubleshoot RS-232 and other fieldbus communications
Able to communicate engineering concepts and ideas clearly (to builders, customers, and others)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related area
8+ Years’ experience in controls engineering
