Shift : Monday-Friday / 8:30am-5:00pm Hourly pay: $21.00-$26.00 (based on experience) Job Purpose The Parts Associate is expected to provide support to the Shop for getting parts from the stockroom and ordering parts for the stock inventories. As the individual gains experience, the Parts Associate can place orders for basic Special-Order Parts or confer with a Senior Parts Associate or a Lead Parts Associate for more advanced Special-Order Parts. Additionally, the Parts Associate will perform physical inventories to help maintain the inventory cycle counts. The position requires using the departmental processes and procedures for a successful team. Duties and responsibilities Window Activities Provide an interface for requests about parts kept in inventory. Provide status of requests for Special-Order Parts. Working knowledge of performing warranty and core returns. Contact vendors for delivery status updates. Greet delivery drivers and sign receipts for vendor packages. Enter, receive, and close purchase orders. Update or credit parts on unit repair orders. Maintain accurate records of daily transactions. Inventory Controls Locate and gather parts for mechanics or window customers. Perform inventory cycle counts. Create invoices for external customer part transactions. Add new parts to current system and appropriate inventories. Transfer parts between corporate inventory locations. Work with vendors for warranty and core returns. Place parts in proper stockroom locations. Drive to vendor location to pick up parts, as required. Regular Attendance & Punctuality. Proper use of PPE. Valid Driver's License. Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check. Preferred Experience with Trimble/TMT. Experience with Microsoft Office. Experience in inventory settings. Problem solving skills. Experience with heavy duty/diesel parts (1 year). Experience as a parts department team member or a service technician. Requirements: Must be able to pass a post-hire drug screen, background check, MVR and employment verification.
