Job Title: CNC Programmer/Machinist - Fusion 360 CAMLocation: Fremont, CA on-sitePay Rate: $50.00-$65.00/hr DOERequirements: 5+ years minimum exp in CNC Machining, Programming, in Aerospace Manufacturing,  multi-axis/5-Axis Programming, Fusion 360 CAM, GD&TPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer skilled in Fusion 360 CAM to create, optimize and verify NC programs for milling, turning, and mill-turn operations. The role is responsible for producing efficient, safe and accurate toolpaths, supporting machine setup and offsets, troubleshooting programs and machines on the shop floor, and collaborating with machinists and engineers to deliver high-quality parts on time. Candidates must have strong hands-on CNC programming and machining experience, Fusion 360 proficiency, and machine setup skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and produce CNC programs using Fusion 360 CAM for 2.5, 3, 4 and 5-axis machining as well as mill-turn applications.Generate and optimize toolpaths to maximize efficiency, tool life and part quality (adaptive clearing, pocketing, contour/face milling, trochoidal strategies where appropriate).Customize and run post-processors to produce correct G-code for Haas, Fanuc, Siemens and other controllers; perform post-process NC code verification and editing as needed.Simulate and backplot NC programs; perform collision detection and resolve toolpath issues prior to shop floor release.Calculate and document feeds, speeds, coolant, tooling and tool-change parameters; select appropriate cutting tools and holders.Prepare machine setup instructions, fixtures and workholding details; set machine offsets (G54G59) and support setup on the shop floor.Troubleshoot CNC programs and machine issues, work with machinists to resolve production problems and iterate on program improvements.Support tolerance and inspection requirements by interpreting drawings and GD&T to ensure parts meet specified dimensions and finish.Maintain and update program libraries, tooling databases and process documentation; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with design engineers and production to optimize manufacturability and reduce cycle time and scrap.Qualifications RequiredMinimum 5+ years of hands-on CNC programming and CNC machining experience, including machine setup and operation.Proficient with Fusion 360 CAM for toolpath generation, simulation, and post-processing.Practical experience in machine setup and offsets (G54G59), shop floor support and basic CNC troubleshooting.Solid understanding of machining fundamentals feeds and speeds, tooling selection, fixturing and workholding, drilling and tapping cycles, and collision avoidance.Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T principles to meet tolerances; experience working with steel and common plastics.Preferred but not requiredExperience with G-code editing, post-processor customization and NC code verification tools.Familiarity with advanced CAM strategies including adaptive clearing, trochoidal milling, pocketing, contour/face milling, and 3+2 indexing.Experience with turning and mill-turn programming and multi-axis (4/5 axis) toolpath development.Experience with aerospace or medical manufacturing, working with titanium and composite materials, and understanding their machinability and fixturing requirements.Familiarity with CAM systems such as Mastercam, and controllers including Haas, Fanuc and Siemens; strong problem solving and communication skills.BenefitsHealth InsDentalVisionPTOOT Career GrowthAnd more Email Your Resume In Word ToDan.Stewart@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
