Our service center handles a large fleet of Ford service trucks (E and F series light duty gasoline engines) and sales vehicles. Ford maintenance, general repair and Ford IDS experience a plus. This position pays by the hour!Job Responsibilities:Performs thorough and accurate Preventative Maintenance inspectionsCompletes all required preventative maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotationMust operate non-CDL vehicles (light-duty) to perform road tests, as well as shuttle in and out of the garage for repairs and maintenanceMust be able to operate bench grinder, torch, welder, oil pumps, power washer, brake lathe and other hand tools required to perform workDocument repairs and parts on work orders completely and accuratelyMaintains tools and workplaces so that conditions are neat and orderlyMust be thoroughly familiar with all safety provisions associated with vehicle maintenanceOther responsibilities as assignedJob Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of verifiable automotive mechanic experience, including preventative maintenance.
