Job Description SummaryA reputable general contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to manage the full bidding process for commercial and healthcare construction projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, coordinating subcontractor bids, and supporting preconstruction efforts from initial review through final proposal.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple bids while working closely with project management and field teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full bid process from scope review through final proposal submissionReview drawings and specifications to develop detailed scopes of workSolicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bidsPrepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposalsCoordinate with Project Managers on schedules and project planningPerform job walks and site visits as neededMaintain bid logs, subcontractor records, and estimating documentationSupport project setup and handoff to operations teamsAssist with change orders, cost tracking, and project documentation as neededParticipate in OAC meetings and preconstruction discussionsQualifications3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractorExperience in commercial or healthcare construction preferredStrong understanding of construction documents, scopes, and subcontractor tradesExperience with Procore, Excel, and estimating software preferredAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlinesStrong communication, organization, and attention to detailCompensation & BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and PTOLong-term growth within a stable construction pipeline
