Accounting & HR Generalist

Accounting & Hr Generalist Hurst Design Build Remodel, an award-winning design-build remodeling company serving Northeast Ohio since 1997, is hiring an Accounting/HR Generalist to support our growing team. This dual role blends financial management with human resources to keep our operations and people running smoothly. What You'll Do:On the accounting side, you'll manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, bank and credit card reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and monthly financial reporting all in compliance with GAAP standards. On the HR side, you'll maintain employee records, administer benefits, support recruitment and onboarding, handle employee relations, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. What We're Looking For:A detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), at least 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience including AP/AR, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Construction industry experience is a plus but not required. Candidates must hold a valid Ohio driver's license and pass a background and drug screening.
