Job Description Requires a minimum of 30 College Science Credits or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, majoring in Environmental, Biological, or Geological Sciences; must be a Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner in the state of Illinois; and requires two years of practical field experience.Assist with and makes routine inspections in environmental programs; prepares activity reports and records of inspections and investigationsSelects, prepares, and submits samples of food and water for laboratory analysis, and performs simple field testsConfers with facility owners, operators, contractors and the public in basic sanitation problems and methods required for compliance with pertinent lawsEnforces and explains program rules and requirements with the publicFull job description attachedFull time position with health, dental and vision insurance, IMRF Retirement and Life Insurance
