We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to support the development of a comprehensive client Equipment Scope Interconnect Blueprint for complex power generation and energy projects. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a standardized framework for managing electrical and control system interfaces between multiple equipment packages, including:
Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) Packages
Transformers
Medium and High Voltage Switchgear
Energy Management Systems (EMS)
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
EPC and Customer-Supplied Systems
The successful candidate will evaluate engineering deliverables from multiple business units, identify interconnection requirements, develop consolidated interface drawings, and ensure clear ownership and scope segregation across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Design Activities
Review and evaluate customer and internal engineering drawing deliverables from all participating business units.
Analyze electrical, control, communication, and protection system interfaces associated with project equipment packages.
Identify all points of interconnection between:
client-to-client equipment packages
client-to-EPC/customer-supplied systems
Develop and maintain a consolidated Interconnect Blueprint serving as the project's single source of truth.
Create standardized interface documentation and point-to-point connection matrices using engineering drawings and Excel-based formats.
Define scope boundaries and ownership responsibilities for all interconnecting systems.
Drawing & Documentation Management
Review single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, protection drawings, communication architecture drawings, cable schedules, and interface documents.
