Job DescriptionPurposeThe Home Shopping Department Manager is responsible for leading the Home Shopping (eCommerce/Online Orders) operation to deliver an accurate, timely, and customer-focused shopping experience. This role oversees order fulfillment, labor planning, service metrics, and team development while ensuring operational and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the Home Shopping Department, including order fulfillment and stagingEnsure accuracy, quality, and on-time completion of all customer ordersDrive performance against service, productivity, labor, and customer satisfaction goalsLead, train, schedule, and develop Home Shopping associatesMonitor order volume and adjust staffing to meet demandEnsure proper product selection, substitution standards, and freshness expectationsMaintain compliance with food safety, safety, and company policiesPartner with store leadership and department managers to support order accuracy and inventory availabilityResolve customer concerns promptly and professionallySupport continuous improvement through performance analysis and process executionKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership and team-development skillsAbility to manage labor, productivity, and service metricsAttention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and qualityEffective communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentQualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior retail or grocery leadership experience requiredExperience with online order fulfillment or service operations preferredAbility to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidaysWorking Conditions Combination of sales floor, backroom, and staging-area workFrequent walking, standing, bending, and liftingFast-paced retail grocery environmentAbout UsAlbertsons Companies is at the forefront of the revolution in retail. About the TeamPay Transparency:Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans.
