Group Fitness Class Instructor
Specific Classes: We’re looking for an energetic and dedicated Group Fitness Instructor to join our team! Ideal candidates will have experience in—or a willingness to train in—the following formats:
Strength & Mobility
Pilates
Chair Yoga
Cycle/Spin
Step Up
This position begins with a flexible schedule, typically a few classes per week, with opportunities to sub additional classes as needed. Depending on your certifications and interests, there is also potential for expanded hours at the front desk or in personal training.
Current Classes Available:
Cycle: Thursdays at 5:30 PM
Strength & Mobility: Wednesdays at 9:45 AM (with possible Friday coverage in the future)
Chair Yoga: Mondays at 11:00 AM
Pilates: Tuesdays at 9:45 AM

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness training, with expertise in various disciplines such as Weight classes with mobility, cycling, and dance. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating and motivating clients to achieve their fitness goals through tailored program design and effective coaching techniques.
Duties
Conduct engaging and effective fitness classes in various formats including range of motion, flexibility, balance, strengthening with body weight and weights.
Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, anatomy, and physiology to ensure safe and effective workouts.
Develop personalized fitness programs based on individual client needs and goals.
Monitor client progress and provide feedback to help them stay motivated and on track.
Maintain a clean and organized workout environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and techniques to enhance class offerings.
Foster a supportive community atmosphere that encourages participation and camaraderie among clients.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to fitness training.
Experience in gym settings with a focus on group classes or personal training.
Certification in group fitness or personal training.
Previous experience in sports coaching is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively.
Ability to design comprehensive fitness programs tailored to diverse client needs.
A positive attitude with a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
