Oncology RN (Night) Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse - Oncology
Night Shift (7 PM – 7 AM EST)
4x12 shifts per week.
Initial Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Float - Yes
Duties: Assesses/reassesses patients ages young adult through the elderly and applies the nursing process to:
Chemotherapy Administration
Assist with specialized procedures
Pain Management
Sedation
Special Isolations
End of life care
Use specialized medical equipment in the care of patients undergoing chemotherapy and other procedures
Specialized IV Drips/Titration
IV therapy
Transfusion Therapy
Accessing Central Lines
Medication Administration
Information Management
Education and Licensure:
Associate’s degree in nursing required.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
RN license required.
REQUIRED BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG, Chemo/ONS required. Oncology Certified.
2 years experience required, 5 years preferred.
