SHOR HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENTDirector of Sales Department: Sales & RevenueReports To: General Manager / Regional Director of SalesEmployment Type: Full-Time | ExemptTravel Required: Occasional Position SummarySHOR Hospitality Management is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales (DOS) to lead and execute comprehensive sales strategies across our managed hotel portfolio. The DOS will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building lasting client relationships, and positioning each property competitively within its market. This individual will champion a culture of sales excellence and collaborate closely with property leadership and the SHOR corporate team to achieve and exceed financial targets.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment and brings a demonstrated track record of success in full-service or select-service hotel sales. Experience working within brand-mandated systems and standards is essential, along with the flexibility to operate effectively under a third-party management structure.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Revenue Generation• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual sales and marketing plan aligned with property revenue goals and SHOR Hospitality management objectives.• Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities across corporate, group, government, and leisure segments.• Drive revenue across all channels including transient, group, contract, and extended stay business.• Monitor competitive set and market trends to adjust strategies and maximize RevPAR performance.• Collaborate with the Revenue Management function to optimize pricing, inventory, and channel strategy.Client Relationship Management• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel managers, meeting planners, and group contacts.• Conduct outside sales calls, property site visits, and client entertainment to develop and retain accounts.• Manage and grow the property's account base using brand-provided CRM and sales tools.• Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as appropriate.Team Leadership & Collaboration• Lead, mentor, and develop on-property sales team members where applicable.• Partner with the General Manager, Front Office, and F&B teams to ensure seamless group and event execution.• Coordinate with SHOR Hospitality regional leadership on companywide sales initiatives, reporting, and best practice sharing.• Provide regular sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and performance analysis to property and corporate leadership.Brand Standards & Compliance• Maintain full compliance with brand sales programs, tools, reporting requirements, and quality standards as established by the franchisor.• Leverage brand loyalty programs, preferred partnerships, and national accounts to drive incremental revenue.• Ensure all sales activities are conducted in accordance with brand guidelines and SHOR Hospitality policies.QualificationsRequired• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, with at least 2 years in a Director of Sales or senior sales leadership role.• Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding revenue targets in a hotel or hospitality environment.• Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), Sales CRM platforms, and brand-specific sales tools.• Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles and market dynamics.• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Preferred• Prior experience operating within a Hilton-family brand environment, including familiarity with OnQ, Delphi, Hilton Sales Connect, and brand reporting portals.• Experience working under a third-party hotel management company structure.• Established relationships within the local and regional corporate, government, or group market.• Hilton brand certification or sales training credentials a plus.Core Competencies• Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen• Relationship Building & Client Engagement• Results Orientation & Accountability• Adaptability & Multi-Property Awareness• Collaborative Leadership• Data-Driven Decision MakingWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position is primarily office and property-based with regular on-site presence required. The DOS may be required to attend off-site client meetings, industry events, and travel to other SHOR-managed properties on an occasional basis.
