Employing state-of-the-art robotics, precision welding equipment, and automated machining processes, Dexter has achieved many years of success through a commitment to the principles of superior quality, continuous improvement, and unparalleled customer service.About The RoleThe Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products within a distribution environment. This role requires regular use of an RF (Radio Frequency) scanner/RFI gun to accurately track inventory and ensure efficient warehouse workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll DoInventory & Order Processing Use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement throughout the warehouse.Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and scanning of inbound and outbound shipments.Receiving & ShippingUnload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products.Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).Material Handling Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment as required.Organize stock in assigned warehouse locations, ensuring clean and efficient workspace flow.Replenish pick locations as necessary based on production and shipping needs.Safety & ComplianceFollow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately.Maintain a clean, organized work environment.Work EnvironmentFast-paced distribution setting with frequent physical activity.Exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variations, noise, and walking surfaces.May require overtime, weekend work, or shift flexibility.QualificationsPrevious warehouse or distribution experience preferred.Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer or WMS system familiarity.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Why Work at DexterDay shift, Monday–Friday scheduleMinimal weekend work — keep your weekends freePaid on-the-job training, including safety and forklift certificationOpportunities for growth and advancementDexter cares for our people.
