Certified Medication Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with medication administration, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. Duties: - Administer medications to patients according to their treatment plans and under the supervision of licensed nurses or physicians. - Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff. - Maintain a clean and organized medical environment, adhering to aseptic technique. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of quality care. - Document patient information and medication administration in a timely and accurate manner. - Participate in educational activities to enhance knowledge of medication administration and patient care. Qualifications: - Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to lift and move patients as needed. - Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and electronic clinical works (eClinicalWorks). - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
