Heavy Civil Estimator
Job DescriptionEstimator - Heavy CivilA dynamic and growing heavy civil construction client of ours is pursuing a driven and strong Estimator. Candidate should have diverse heavy civil construction skills and a demonstrated track record both in the office and field. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy civil construction that includes heavy civil, underground construction, Pump Stations, Wastewater, Concrete, Earthwork, Site Development, Storm Sewer, Pipeline & DOT projects.Responsibilities:Estimating self-performed projects which typically range from 1 million to 30 million dollars; including pricing labor, equipment, and material costs.Working knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases.Ability to produce detailed, accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings.Ability to assess site exposures/construction risks and be able to appropriately analyze cost and reflect these in an estimate.Identify constructability issues through the estimating process.Identify and propose value-engineering alternatives.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree preferred (Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar)2 - 4 years heavy civil estimating or related field construction experienceProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelHCSS/Agtek/Bluebeam Experience PreferredStrong organization and planning skillsAbility to work on multiple projects under tight deadlinesSalary based on qualifications & experience.Don't miss out on the Amazing Opportunity with a Great Company.
