Armed Security Officer (Full-Time)

Prerequisite Information Candidate must be willing to work day or night shift and weekends as needed. Candidate must already possess active D & G licenses and provide their own firearm Candidate must own their own personal vehicle and maintain a valid drivers license Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques, conflict management skills, and a strong understanding of security practices. The Armed Security Officer will work in various settings, ensuring the protection of assets, persons, and client locations and effectively resolving disputes. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure safety and security. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports. Engage in conflict management strategies to resolve disputes effectively. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and best practices. Provide access control services, granting entry only to residents, their visitors, or persons with a valid reason for entry. Operate a company issued motor vehicle Experience Valid armed security license is required. Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable. Proven ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for reporting incidents accurately. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred; certification may be provided.
