IT Manager

Role Overview Apply your IT leadership experience to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technical input. This remote contract opportunity draws on practical expertise in IT strategy, systems architecture, infrastructure, security, vendor management, and team leadership. No previous AI experience is required. Key Responsibilities Provide detailed insights on IT strategy development, systems architecture planning, and infrastructure optimization scenarios. Evaluate vendor-management and procurement challenges, including collaboration and systems-integration considerations. Share real-world examples and recommendations related to security compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory standards. Review proposed IT solutions and identify architecture or implementation gaps and improvement opportunities. Contribute best practices for technical team leadership, knowledge transfer, and employee upskilling. Provide feedback on documentation, workflows, and process designs to improve clarity, feasibility, and operational efficiency. Participate in structured discussions and written assignments that inform AI tools for IT professionals. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience as an IT or Systems Manager, including leadership of technical teams or management of enterprise-scale infrastructure. Demonstrated expertise in IT strategy, systems architecture, and technology roadmapping. Strong experience with vendor management, contract evaluation, and third-party solution integration. In-depth knowledge of security compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, along with risk-management practices. Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in writing and verbally. Experience mentoring or coaching IT professionals and supporting growth and best practices. Ability to assess documentation, workflows, and processes from a holistic IT-management perspective. Work Terms Remote contract engagement. Compensation $60 to $75 per hour.
