Thisposition makes this possible byadhering toArizona Statutes ongovernmental accounting and reporting as well as all Federal Mandates. Serves as the main point of contact for any information concerningfunds and budgets for County offices, fire districts and the citiesand towns. Represents the County Treasurer\'s Office during audits and preparesall necessary records in reference to the Office\'s transactions andfunds balances. Accurately allocates funds to various entities listed on taxbills,to ensure entities meet their budgets and maintain healthy creditlines. Such allocation process is carried out according to ArizonaStatutes and accounting guidelines through reports and statements,completed daily, monthly and annually. Attends to phone calls and provides guidance to citizens withtax-related questions during peak tax collection times. Maintains and balances checkbook daily and processes journals fromFinance Department, schools and special districts. Performs cash and bank reconciliations. Uploads and processes warrants from banks before posting andprovides corresponding reports to the Finance Department, the CountySchoolSuperintendents Office and the Payson School District. Performs other duties as assigned.
