CNC Machinist III

CNC Machinist III Cadrex is searching for a CNC Machinist III who will be a key player in our manufacturing operations, responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery. This position requires advanced knowledge of CNC operations, including complex setups, programming, troubleshooting, and quality control. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and precision of our manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs as needed for specific components and production requirements. Knowledge of G-code and CAM software is essentialOperate CNC machines to produce components, closely monitoring machining processes, and making real-time adjustments for optimal performance and qualityConduct rigorous quality inspections using precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to ensure part dimensions and quality meet specificationsPerform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on CNC machines. Troubleshoot machine issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtimeCollaborate with CNC programmers, engineers, and production teams to optimize machining processes, reduce cycle times, and increase efficiencyManage tool changes, tool offsets, and tool life monitoring to ensure consistent and high-quality machining resultsStrictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe and organized work areaAccurately document and maintain production records, including part counts, machine logs, and quality control dataPreferred Qualifications3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with a focus on complex CNC machining operationsProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsStrong knowledge of CNC programming using G-code and CAM softwareExperience with a variety of CNC machines and controlsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issuesAttention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality componentsUnderstanding of safety protocols and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environmentStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamEducationHighschool Diploma2-year technical certification or equivalent experienceLocationOnsiteScheduleM-F, 1st shiftWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
