The Opportunity The Senior Sourcing Specialist is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for transforming organizational product needs into sourcing plans and execution. Marketlab's sourcing needs encompass distribution, private-labeling, contract manufacturing, as well as raw materials and components for manufacturing. This role negotiates pricing and terms, establishes and maintains strategic partnerships, and leads the execution of supply agreements that ensure supply continuity and financial health. Reporting to the Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be a key partner of Commercial and Product Management teams in launching new products while also leading strategic sourcing opportunities across Marketlab's portfolio of products. What You'll Do Strategic Sourcing: Lead sourcing activities to identify, assess, select, and onboard suppliers. New Product Development: Partner cross-functionally in the new product development process to gather requirements, issue and negotiate RFPs/RFQs, and identify optimal suppliers. Contract Execution: Lead negotiations for supply agreements to achieve optimal terms while mitigating risk; identify and address contract non-compliance; enter and manage contracts in the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. Purchasing Enablement: Design and implement the framework for supplier engagement and pricing, ensuring the Purchasing team has a clear, well-documented structure to execute tactical purchase orders. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop deep partnerships with strategic national brand, private-brand, and contract manufacturing suppliers. Supplier Performance Management: Implement and oversee a robust supplier management program to assess supply performance. Work with suppliers to address both situational and systemic performance issues. Cost Savings: Use data and analytics to Identify and execute on cost reduction opportunities across the portfolio of products. Manufacturing Sourcing Support: Develop strategies to source and manage our raw material and component needs to optimize cost and continuity of supply. Market Analysis: Stay current with market trends, commodity pricing, and global economic conditions and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly. Maintain contract pricing in the NetSuite ERP system. KPIs: Track and report on Sourcing KPIs; work cross-functionally to identify and execute on performance improvement opportunities. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a sourcing role supporting internally manufactured and externally procured finished goods; high-SKU distribution environment preferred. International sourcing experience required. Medical products distribution experience is a plus. NetSuite experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
