Job Description Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. This contract opportunity is for ten highly qualified professionals to assist in the Extended School Year (ESY) program, with assignments available in high school, middle school, or elementary settings. The role runs from June 15, 2026, to June 25, 2026, Monday through Friday, with daily hours from approximately 8:55am to 12:25pm (please note, hours may vary slightly depending on student needs and site location). You'll join a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact during a crucial learning period.Qualifications:Meet Minnesota's requirements for highly qualified paraprofessionals:Successfully pass the MN Para Educator Exam (MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam), orHold at least 60 college credits (official college transcripts required; diplomas do not suffice)Documentation of qualifications (resume and either exam results or transcripts) must accompany your application to be considered.Experience as a school-based paraprofessional is preferred.Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to work with a range of student caseloads (ES, MS, or HS).Strong communication and teamwork skills.Responsibilities:Provide instructional or behavioral support to students under the guidance of certified staff.Adapt to meet students' academic and emotional needs across different age groups.Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.Maintain professionalism and confidentiality within the school setting.This short-term assignment offers a chance to make a real difference in students' summer growth.
