Material Handler

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse or distribution center. Duties - Operate various equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move materials - Perform heavy lifting of materials and products - Handle order picking and packing tasks - Assist in shipping and receiving activities - Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular counts and reconciliations Requirements - Prior experience in materials handling or a similar role preferred - Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks - Familiarity with distribution center operations is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.58 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Birmingham, AL 35209 (Required) Work Location: In person
