Title: Tax AnalystLocal to MODescription:SummaryAccounting degree and 3+ years of accounting experience, which includes tax experienceCPA is preferred but not requiredExperience working with a lot of different tax forms and vouchersGeneral ledger queries/reportingIntermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and formulasResponsibility:Processes all online and paper filings for US states and localitiesEnsure final return copies are saved in the appropriate Sales & Use Tax foldersPrepare/review payment vouchersAssemble vouchers/checks for mailingInitiate direct debits with state taxing authoritiesQuery information from PeopleSoftEstablish state payment logins and/or registrations (if applicable)Tax research in CCHVoucher research in PeopleSoft and ReflexBranch and Location research in PeopleSoftAssist with Asset Management duties as neededScans and sorts all mail/redirects all emailsProcesses Sales & Use Tax certificate renewalsResponds to FA inquiries related to Sales & Use Tax certificatesQualification:Accounting degree and 3+ years of accounting experience, which includes tax experienceCPA is preferred but not requiredExperience working with a lot of different tax forms and vouchersGeneral ledger queries/reportingIntermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and formulasAbility to work independently and effectively collaborate with team membersStrong organizational skills
