This senior role demands a strategic, mission-driven leader with a proven track record in generating significant financial support. The successful candidate will be instrumental in inspiring donors, building strategic partnerships, and driving fundraising success to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.Key responsibilities for the CPO include revenue growth, overseeing a major gifts program, and managing the planning and execution of signature fundraising events. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of senior-level fundraising experience, with a strong emphasis on major gifts and donor cultivation. They should be adept at leading and mentoring a development team, maintaining high standards of donor stewardship, and ensuring that all fundraising activities align with the organization's mission and values. The role requires a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of nonprofit development strategies.
