A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter to support a team in identifying and arranging insurance coverage for clients. Key Responsibilities Manage the underwriting process in accordance with carrier guidelines and company policies Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside binding authority Negotiate terms and coverages while maintaining communication with producers on submissions Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or specialty insurance products Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance Ability to independently manage the underwriting and brokerage process Strong knowledge of underwriting practices related to the types of accounts handled
