Route Settlement Specialist

Job Type Full-time Description Summary/Objective The Route Settlement Specialist in the branch locations verifies drivers’ paperwork, bank deposits and full-service bags. The Route Settlement Specialist is responsible for reconciling daily routes from various locations. Other duties are assigned. Primary Responsibilities Count cash Verify that checks are filled out correctly, signed, and stamped Operate adding machine Set up and maintain spreadsheets in Excel Check for PO #'s, customer signatures, store stamps and DSD sheets Scan paperwork to appropriate shared folders for Route Settlement and other departments Operation of Windows based computer systems Clerical skills, organization and filing paperwork Interact and communicate with supervisors, route drivers, and other staff in a positive and professional manner Prepare deposits for delivery to the bank Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma required 2 or more years’ experience in an office setting preferred Additional Qualifications and Competencies Problem Solving/Analysis skills Customer/Driver focus Results-Driven Flexible Works well with others to achieve goals Follows procedures to ensure accuracy Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
