Senior Java Backend Developer Location: Alpharetta, Georgia(Onsite) Full-time All Visa Workable Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems within the banking or financial services domain. The candidate will develop microservices-based applications supporting core banking, payments, or financial transaction systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices Work on high-volume financial transaction systems Implement secure coding practices aligned with banking standards Integrate with Oracle/PostgreSQL and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD and cloud deployments Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers Required Skills 8+ years of strong Java backend development experience Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms Strong SQL skills (Oracle preferred) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins Solid understanding of distributed systems and multithreading Preferred Banking/Financial Services domain experience (Core Banking, Payments, Trading) Experience with AWS/Azure Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOX compliance Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
