KEYS:5+ years as a Controller within the construction industry, supporting companies with approximately $15M to $75M in annual revenue (slight stretch candidates may be considered).Hands-on ownership of the month-end close process, including percentage-of-completion accounting and revenue recognition.Strong Work-in-Progress (WIP) experience, including building, maintaining, and analyzing WIP schedules.Bonding experience required. Must have personally prepared and maintained WIP schedules relied upon by bonding companies and sureties for bond underwriting, including job profitability forecasting, percentage-of-completion reporting, and related surety reporting.Experience with California union payroll, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DIR compliance across multiple union locals.Hands-on Controller mentality with the ability to operate in a lean environment and manage both strategic and day-to-day accounting responsibilities.Preferred Software Experience:Construction Partner (current system)Sage 300 CREVistaFoundationProcore
