Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Description: Electro-Mechanical TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling electrical/electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.Responsibilities+ Assembled power-electronics sub-assemblies.+ Perform electrical, functional, and visual inspections on components and finished products.+ Assist with production line installation and workstation setup as needed.+ Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.+ Identify and report defects, test failures, safety concerns, or process issues.+ Accurately complete production and quality documentation.Essential Skills+ Proficiency in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude.+ Experience in production and assembly.+ Competency in electrical and electronics, including soldering and schematic reading.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ High school diploma or GED required. Additional education is a big plus.+ 3+ years of experience in electronics or manufacturing preferred.+ Ability to read basic electrical schematics and assembly instructions.+ Experience with soldering, wiring, and electrical testing preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
