With a rapidly expanding footprint across the U.S., this organization is scaling its network presence and investing in top-tier talent to support continued growth and reliability.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Lead based in Charlotte, NC. The NOC Lead will be responsible for identifying and resolving network disruptions, communicating with stakeholders, and analyzing network performance trends to support continuous improvement initiatives.This role will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Implementation, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between network performance and technical solutions.Why This Role MattersThis position plays a critical role in ensuring network reliability, uptime, and performance. Your technical expertise and proactive approach will contribute to maintaining a fast, stable, and scalable network environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the technical response for emergency network incidents, coordinating with technicians, engineers, and vendors to resolve issues efficientlyServe as the escalation point for complex subscriber or node-level outages (T1/T2 support)Plan, coordinate, and execute complex network changes during low-traffic maintenance windowsMaintain and standardize network documentation, including port maps, fiber paths, and SOPsPerform routine patching and OS upgrades to enhance system stability and securityUtilize telemetry and NMS data to troubleshoot intermittent issues such as latency and network instability across PON environmentsExperience & Qualifications3+ years of experience working with fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technologies (GPON, XGS-PON)2+ years of experience using NMS/EMS tools for provisioning, monitoring, and ticketing systemsBachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, IT, or a related fieldPreferred SkillsStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (VLAN tagging/Q-in-Q, SIP/VoIP, DHCP)Industry certifications (Nokia, Calix, Adtran, Juniper, etc.)Exposure to Metro Ethernet and transport networksStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess trends and drive data-informed decisionsExcellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagementAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced network operations environmentBenefitsMedical, dental, and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off, parental leave, and sick leave
