Senior Procurement Analyst
Datadog is seeking a highly motivated Senior Procurement Analyst with strong contracts management experience to support and evolve our procure-to-pay (P2P) function.This role sits at the intersection of procurement, legal, and finance, combining analytical rigor, contract expertise, and stakeholder influence to drive measurable business impact. You will not only execute procurement activities, but also shape strategies, mitigate risk, and optimize processes at scale in a fast-growing environment.What You'll DoDraft, review, and redline a wide range of agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, and vendor contractsLead negotiations for new and renewal agreements, assessing risk and business valueIdentify and mitigate contractual, financial, and operational risks, escalating where appropriateDevelop and maintain standardized contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positionsPartner closely with Legal to ensure alignment on contract strategy and complianceStakeholder PartnershipAct as a trusted advisor to Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders on contract structure and procure-to-pay operationsInfluence purchasing decisions by driving best practices and risk awarenessTranslate business requirements into commercially sound procurement and contracting solutionsBuild strong relationships across departments to enable efficient and scalable procurement operationsProcurement Lifecycle OwnershipOwn the end-to-end contract and procurement lifecycleManage and optimize vendor relationships and performance across key spend categoriesEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies while maintaining speed and flexibility for the businessMaintain accurate and organized contract records within procurement systemsAnalytics & Process ImprovementLeverage data to analyze vendor performance and procurement trendsIdentify cost-saving opportunities, process inefficiencies, and risk areasDrive continuous improvement initiatives to scale procurement operations and enhance user experienceContribute to the development of procurement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworksExplore and implement AI tools to drive advanced analytics, process automation, and continuous improvement within procurement operations Who You Are3 - 6+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contracts management, or related fieldProven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor contractsStrong understanding of contract structures, commercial terms, and risk mitigation principlesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignmentExperience with procurement and CLM tools (e.g., Zip, Ironclad, Coupa, Ariba) preferredHigh attention to detail with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentBenefits & Growth:Generous and competitive benefits packageNew hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase planContinuous career development and pathing opportunitiesEmployee-focused best in class onboardingInternal mentor and cross-departmental buddy programFriendly and inclusive workplace cultureBenefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation.
