The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for following established strategies, filling candidate pipelines, and interviewing potential candidates.Essential FunctionsFull cycle recruitment process, including sourcing and requisition managementPartner with external staffing agencies, including contract and temporary workforce engagements with a strong understanding of contract terms, compliance requirements and the ability to review, interpret, and execute staffing and service agreementsProvide sourcing and recruiting support to Intelligence and Aerospace programs, as well as internal corporate roles such as Engineering, IT, Operations, Finance, Human ResourcesMaintain a strong network of industry contacts for potential sourcing and hiringDevelop innovative ways to source candidates to produce sustainable talent pipelinesFacilitate the screening and selection process between candidates and hiring teams which Includes internal training as necessaryMaintain detailed communications with managers, candidates, and stakeholders to stay apprised of status and general coordination, negotiating and closing offers, and process improvementsProactive tracking of progress and all recruiting activities in our applicant tracking systemAnalyze staffing trends and results for continuous improvement of our strategies and processProvide recruitment status metrics to all pertinent stakeholders regularlyAssist with the training, mentoring, and developing of junior recruiting staff as neededFoster Global Inclusion and Diversity in business hiring practicesFulfillment of assigned recruiting responsibilities with a high sense of urgency and thorough execution of established processesPerform other duties as required.Qualifications and CompetenciesAbility to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.Familiarity with Affirmative Action plans, tracking & reportingIntermediate level of knowledge in all full life cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligenceStrong computer skills in a PC environment using various business software programs (spreadsheets, word-processing, and databases)Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite of applicationsAbility to manage effectively and hire quickly for approximately 10 requisitions at a time, with the ability to handle more during hiring surgesHighly organized and detail orientedAbility to collaboratively work with teamPossesses sound judgement and ability to think/work through critical situationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbalStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsAbility to work under pressureAccustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAdaptable and flexible to changing priorities, can handle multiple assignments, and meets deadlineAbility to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materialsEducation / CertificationsBA/BS or Associates, Business or HR degrees preferred, although applicants with equivalent work experience will be consideredExperience5+ years' experience as an in-house/corporate recruiter, talent acquisition specialist for an Aerospace company preferred.Agency experience filling DoD and/or Aerospace Engineering roles will also workExecutive search experience is preferredExperience recruiting and hiring individuals with high level security clearances within the Intelligence communityExperience using an Applicant Tracking Systems to source, track, and measure resultsExperience recruiting for business development, capture and proposal initiatives within Government contracting environment preferredPhysical RequirementThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
