You will make a difference at Dial by not only adding years to resident's lives but life to their years.Position Summary: Provide safe transportation for residents to scheduled activities and appointments.Perks & Benefits:Birthday & anniversary PTOTuition AssistanceDouble pay on holidaysPTO accrual on DAY 1Referral BonusFree meal during shift (Up to $260 savings)Loyalty IncentiveEmployee Recognition ProgramDiscounts through Verizon and AT&TPay Advance ProgramMedical and Prescription Drug Insurance including Dental and VisionBasic Term Life/AD&D401KFlexible Spending Account for Dependent CareEssential Job ResponsibilitiesTransport residents to and from medical appointments and other locations, as needed.Maintain records of resident appointments and submit to office for monthly billing per established procedures.Ensure the safety of the residents as they enter and exit the bus.Ensure that the residents get into the office/building of their appointment in a safe and timely manner.Assist the residents with walking aids when entering and exiting the bus/van.Provide a high level of customer service at all times.Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems/deficiencies of the bus/van.When necessary, assist the Lifestyle Director with activities.Report any concerns of the resident's well-being to the Executive Director or supervisor.Participate in emergency evacuation drills and help assist residents to safe areas, as needed.Maintain bus/van in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, facility operations and personnel.Other duties as assignedEducation, Experience and Other RequirementsMust have a Class C CDL license or other license as required by state.Documented safe driving recordHigh School diploma or GEDMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredPromote teamwork in providing services to residents.Ability of working 3-3.75 hours standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit downPreferred QualificationsWillingness to learn and help othersEnjoyment in working with older adults
