Must be flexible in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events. Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance. (Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening. Must have a valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications / Skills Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks, including: part modeling, assembly creation, drawing generation, and basic configurations. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain drafting accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Responsibilities Develop innovative mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks CAD software. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, assembly guides, and project reports to support production and quality assurance efforts. Oversee projects from initial concept through prototyping to final release, ensuring alignment with RTC standards, configuration protocols, and client specifications. Contribute to design reviews by offering and receiving constructive, solutions-focused feedback. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend new engineering methods, tools, and materials that support continuous improvement. #CJ
