Job Description #IND123Job ID 23346 – Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: Clearwater, FL 33763 – This position is onsitePay: $22.00 to $23.00 per hourType: Contract to hireSchedule: Must be open to department hours and rotating weekendsMon-Sun, 9:00 AM to 10:00 PMMost likely will be assigned to 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM shift or similarTypically assigned only (1) weekend day every other weekendTraining schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM for approximately (2) weeksJob description:Perform pharmacy workflow tasks including data entry, medication filling, inventory management, and shipping with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, same-day fulfillment environmentDispense and package medications under pharmacist supervision while adhering to safety standards and working within a low-risk formulary (~500 medications, no controls or compounding)Maintain organized and accurate inventory, including proper labeling, storage, and monitoring of medication levelsProcess prescription refills, cancellations, and updates promptly with high attention to detail and awareness of look-alike/sound-alike medicationsWork in a supportive, team-oriented culture with no direct customer or patient interaction and no insurance-related tasks (no billing, prior authorizations, or insurance calls)Nice to have:Google appsRequirements:Must have (1) year of related experience or courseworkMust have active registered Pharm Tech license in State of FloridaMust be able to work weekend rotationsMust have excellent written and verbal professional communication skillsMust be MS Office proficientHigh school diploma or equivalentBackground check required
