Apartment Make-Ready Technician Position Title: Apartment Make-Ready Technician We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Apartment Make-Ready Technician to help prepare apartment homes for new residents. This position is responsible for turning vacant units into clean, safe, and move-in-ready homes while working closely with property management and maintenance teams. Responsibilities Complete apartment make-ready turns before resident move-ins Perform basic maintenance repairs including: Painting Drywall repair Light plumbing Minor electrical work Appliance checks Door and lock repairs Replace fixtures, blinds, and hardware when needed Ensure apartments are clean and meet company standards Walk units with management to identify needed repairs Remove trash and debris from vacant units Maintain inventory of tools and supplies Follow all safety procedures and company policies Assist maintenance team with additional property needs when required Qualifications Previous apartment make-ready or maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation preferred Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Skills We're Looking For Positive attitude Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic Problem-solving mindset Ability to work in fast-paced environments Great communication with property staff and residents Work Environment This position works on-site at apartment communities and may require indoor and outdoor work in different weather conditions.
