Job Description Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make a positive impact in educational settings by supporting students in a variety of K-12 classrooms. Positions are available for those interested in working as paraprofessionals, especially as we prepare for both upcoming extended school year (ESY) programs this June and next school year needs starting in August.Openings span across elementary, middle, and high schools, including roles in special education (SPED) classrooms. Flexibility is valued, but we welcome preferences for specific age groups or school levels. Responsibilities may involve 1:1 student support or assisting in a general classroom setting, as well as helping with behaviors, toileting, and changing.Qualifications and Experience Sought:Current active Substitute Certificate listed on the Missouri DESE websiteWillingness to float among various classrooms and schools depending on daily needsExperience working with children in educational or behavioral settings preferredComfort with personal care tasks, behavioral support, and special needsReliable, adaptable, and capable of effective collaboration with school professionalsKey Responsibilities:Provide classroom and/or 1:1 support for students with diverse learning needsAssist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventionsPerform personal care duties (toileting, changing) as neededFoster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environmentCommunicate effectively with teachers and support staffSchedule Opportunities:Middle Schools: 7:00am – 2:30pmHigh Schools: 7:30am – 3:00pmElementary Schools: 8:30am – 4:00pm or 9:00am – 4:30pmCandidates will have a brief 10-minute prescreen phone call prior to presentation to schools.Ready to take the next step?
