This role will focus on developing and editing high-impact internal communications that keep field teams informed, aligned, and equipped to support evolving business needs.This position partners closely with Communication Strategy teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver timely, audience-focused messaging in a fast-paced, global retail environment. We do not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, age, religion or religious creed, disability or handicap, sex or gender, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite, edit, and curate weekly communications for Retail field teams.Develop urgent response communications for unplanned events, escalations, and crisis situations.Partner cross-functionally to support communication strategies, processes, and operational readiness.Ensure communications are clear, engaging, actionable, and aligned with organizational values and tone.Collaborate with leadership and business partners to deliver timely and effective messaging.Gather feedback and insights from field teams to improve communication effectiveness and engagement.Support leaders with messaging preparation and communication delivery guidance.Balance strategic storytelling with concise operational and tactical communication.Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Provide occasional after-hours support for urgent retail communication needs.Required Qualifications4+ years of professional writing and editing experience, preferably in internal or field communications.Experience creating audience-first communications in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.Strong copywriting and copyediting skills across multiple communication channels including newsletters, email, narrative content, and online communications.Proven ability to work cross-functionally within complex organizations and manage multiple stakeholders.Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver results with minimal oversight.Demonstrated ability to communicate both strategic vision and operational direction effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High learning agility with the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic situations.Passion for retail and creating human-centered employee communication experiences at scale.Preferred QualificationsRetail field communications experience.Experience supporting crisis communications or rapid-response communications.Experience working within large global organizations.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a collaborative and proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
