Achieva provides personalized services and opportunities that respect each person's unique aspirations.Position SummaryDirect Support Professionals (DSPs) provide direct care and personalized support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community setting ensuring their health, safety, and welfare.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstands, supports and advocates with people we support by helping them achieve their vision of a good life.Identifies, documents and shares concerns and successes as appropriate.Transports and accompanies people to activities, appointments and events.Helps with personal care tasks as needed.Assists with money management by promoting independence.Administers medications.Performs other related duties as assigned.Certification Requirements: Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of start date and pass Medication administration within 2 months of start date.Clearance Requirements: Satisfactory Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearance required.License & Travel: Must have a valid PA Driver's License.
