We offer company events, activities, and opportunities to participate in charitable initiatives that benefit the communities where we are located.www.sms-group.usWhat You’ll DoMaintains dialog with the SMS Service Shops, SMS Sales & Customer to offer solutions for equipment repairs & or modernizationsDevelops Standard Repairs ,Modifications, Modernization packages that can be scaled across multiple customers/equipmentProvides Repair methods (Shops & field Service), component modernization, Maintenance Contracts, recommended spare parts proposals Etc.Creates & Standardizes Product inspection reporting and proposal methods (Flat service)Creates Internal & External Core product training documents/presentationsCollaborate with OEM Engineer for Engineered repairs & enhancementsCollaborates with Marketing to create & or update Flat Rolling Product service website & product brochuresCreates Market analysis for New and existing products & services (example: Mold Coatings, machine alignment processes, and Roll Specifications and processing, Etc.)Collaborate with OPS team to create and implement digital inspection & GSS Integration throughout our service locationsCreates Data Base of Spare Components that can be altered to cover multiple customers’ equipment (molds, segments, roll life, cylinder life, Etc.)Supports Spare part group for Core ComponentsSupports customers’ operation issues by analysis of IBA Data, Dimensional inspection, etc. utilizing onsite resources to perform inspection, and gather data to provide a Maintenance, Modernization and/or new solution for the operational issues.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThey could have a Product Specialist reporting to themWhat You’ll Need10 plus years of technical experienceBachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or Marketing preferredEntrepreneurial mindset requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid vacation, paid holiday time, 401k with a company match, training, a tuition reimbursement program and more!What We DoSMS group is the leading partner in the world of metals.
